Platform
SF Land / NFT / SF Pioneers / SF Map / SF Land dashboard
Second Frontier Lands (SF Lands) are blockchain registered NFTs, hexagonal parcels (called tiles) of approximately 35 square meters covering our real world as a digital layer. As such, SF Land ownership is traceable and immutable.
Every SF Land comes with an empty terrain. Further development of the platform will allow SF Pioneers to select some prebuilt AR and MV free digital assets to be placed on their SF Land.
SF Lands are both: - a way to position SF Content for AR and Metaverse experiences on earth. - the heart of the SF foundations that allows SF community participants to generate the economic incentives for the development and growth of the ecosystem.
SF Lands will be granted an NFT -using the Solana standards for NFTs- recorded on the Solana blockchain. Full transparency over ownership of NFTs will be recorded on an immutable ledger on the blockchain and smart contract application will be used for an efficient revenue distribution when sold. Every SF Land is unique, and only the blockchain-recorded owners will be the full beneficiaries of any activity happening on the land.
The SF Land will initially be available to buy by anybody via our Second Frontier Map (SF Map). The SF Map allows users to visualize the tiles, and see the ones already bought and the ones still available. The SF Map will allow potential SF Land buyers to select any tile, see the pricing attached to the tile or group of tiles and buy its selection if it is for sale.
SF Landowners become SF Pioneers and will be provided with a dashboard to control and monitor their land, called the SF Land dashboard. The SF Land dashboard will allow the SF Pioneer to control four different control panels:
- The Status: to allow himself to set his status as Passive (the default status) or Active. Setting the status as Active will open the access to the “Monetization” control panel.
- The Content Manager: to allow himself to position any kind of private SF Content or private SF Experience on his tiles whenever he pleases.
- The SF Marketplace: to allow himself to actively sell his tiles and make them available on the SF Land Marketplace.
- The Monetization: monetization is about controlling the economic potential revenues from each tile by renting the SF Land or applying a fee for others to access the SF Land and place SF Experiences.
SF Pioneers have the choice to activate (status set as Active) or block (status set as Passive) the Monetization activity on their SF Land via the “Status” control panel.
They have the option to set their own pricing on each tile or group of tiles:- by fixing the renting price and timeframe for their SF Land.
- by setting the fee system by which they allow SF Content to be placed on their SF Land. A default pricing system with standard prices will be set for each tile, but SF Pioneers can amend them at any time.
Why is it Good to Own Land on SF?
Owning SF Land will allow Active SF Pioneers to benefit from:
- Having fun by placing SF Experiences on their own land.
- Trading their Land and expecting potential revenue from it. The pricing of their Land can appreciate or depreciate over time. The activity happening on their tile may have a positive influence on its value. That activity can be virtual and linked to Metaverse experiences generating traffic on the Metaverse. It can also be linked to AR activities and thus related to the real-world generated traffic of end-users enjoying geolocalized AR experiences.
- Monetizing their Land by renting it to promoters or getting a fee when external SF Content is requested to be placed in their land by promoters.
Metaverse and AR digital assets: SF Content
All ecosystem participants can decide to become SF Content owners or SF Content creators. They can develop AR or Metaverse experiences with the technology of their choice and make them available to the ecosystem via the SF Marketplace.
The SF Content Marketplace will allow a seamless exchange of ownership of digital assets.
The way SF Content will be controlled mainly remains in the hands of the ecosystem participants. This means that the SF platform will review and potentially remove SF Content that will be flagged and reported to the SF platform by any of their participants.
SF retains the right to moderate and review SF Content for copyright infringement and to remove SF Content from the Second Frontier platform that violates our Terms.
Typically, SF Content must not be pornographic, threatening, harassing, hate-oriented, harmful, defamatory, racist, xenophobic, or illegal in any possible form from any legal jurisdiction, as will be determined by SF at its sole discretion.
Selling and Trading digital assets: the SF Marketplace
SF will provide a marketplace covering different kinds of digital assets: SF Land and SF Content.
The SF Land Marketplace manages the buying and selling of any SF Lands.
The SF Content Marketplace manages the buying and selling of any SF Content.
If the digital asset is an NFT (an SF Land or any other digital asset), the recording of the transaction will be made on the blockchain and the new owner will be publicly registered on the blockchain ledger.
